What is the point

I was thinking today (dangerous, I know). The AJAX comment thing is neat, but very pointless to someone who never visits the site. I have RSS feeds for the site and comments. If you are using RSS, there isn’t any need to visit the site unless you actually want to comment yourself. But even then, the link is still pointless because you can’t comment from there (yet). It’s just some pretty eye candy. I still like it.

So today’s question… how do you read this site? Do you visit or use the feed? I use feedreader to frequent all my favorite sites. I normally don’t visit personally (unless I’m commenting naturally).

I just have you syndicated in my FireFox browser, in a separate folder that I just call “RSS feeds”. I also use the google.com/ig homepage feature.
