Serving with Samba: part I
I finally got something to work! With very limited Linux knowledge, it has been hard just to get to this point. But I’ve actually learned a lot of basic stuff I really should have known anyway.
I mean, I know networking, at least a good base of networking, but I don’t think I ever grasped what it was really doing. Somehow, this whole project is making me think more about and understand what I already thought I knew…If that makes any sense.
I haven’t been able to spend as much time as I would like on this little project otherwise I’d probably be further along. Life happens.
