Volunteers rock
Wow, I can’t begin to tell you all how busy things have been. My apologies for the lack of updates. I’m only a volunteer. As my life gets busy, some things just take a back seat. Blogging is it sometimes. I do keep up with my reading, so hopefully you haven’t given up on me.
I can’t even begin to tell you how pumped I am. Right now I’m so excited about what is happening at church. God really seems to be moving. I’m convinced that something huge is around the corner! Of course, with God something huge is always around the corner.
I had a meeting with a very talented volunteer tonight. This was the first time I’ve ever approached someone about a ministry opportunity. Volunteers have always just shown up and expressed interest before. It was a great talk (over an hour and a half). I’m more pumped than ever about what he could add to the media ministry. I’m not sure what he’s thinking. After he left I thought of no less than 5 things I wish I had said. I guess that’s typical. There will be other opportunities to clarify anything that wasn’t clear I’m sure.
I love this church! It’s so awesome to work with a group of passionate people!
