We are using Canon for our copiers. I think it might be time to load some print drivers.

They will want me to crunch the numbers first. But I bet we pay way more in maintenance on the printers than we do the Canon's.

I've found that maintenance costs for my printer far exceed its original value. I, too, am fed up with my printer manufacturer. Printers are the bane of my existence. Check out this website though; it's quite funny: destroyaprinter.com

We are using Xerox for all our printers and copiers, we have service contracts on all the equipment from them (ranges from $5 to $15 per month) and they provide on-site service and parts are included. It works out great for us, almost like outsourcing the printer management side of out IT department.
