Google Notebook

Is anyone else using Google Notebook?  I love the ability to take notes while browsing.  I like to put blog ideas, links, and well, notes in various notebooks.

Oh yeah, you can have multiple notebooks.

Check it out if your curious.  The only feature I would like it to have is the ability to email a note in any given notebook to someone.  And what would be even cooler would be if the person I emailed has a gmail account, they could update and add to the comments on the note.  So I guess note sharing is what I want.  Come on Google, if you can do sharing on Docs and Spreadsheets, let’s share notes too!

Is anyone else using this?

Actually I do the same thing, but it’s Microsoft OneNote 2007 all the way for me! No network connection needed, password protection/encryption, and multi-computer-sync with a great user interface did it for me.

I think I tried Google Notebook when it first came out, but I haven’t been back. Glad to hear it’s useful though…whatever fits your working style is the best thing to use!

OneNote isn’t that expensive for churches though…about $15 with Software Assurance per copy at charity pricing. Close to Google but not free :-)

I agree, OneNote is awesome. It also makes me happy I am finally finding a use for the tablet features of my tablet.

But for some reason, Google Notebook has found a place in my routine of note taking with web browsing. I use the browser plug in aspect of it. I rarely open the full page notebook control.

I would like to know more about OneNote 2007. I’m still getting used to 2003. What’s new/different/better about it?
