long time gone
I’m still here. I wish I had something really geeky to say, but I don’t. We’re working on some really, really cool IT stuff at work, but I’m not allowed to blog about it. We have been working on some massive upgrades, so that has monopolized my time.
I’ve really slacked off on all my involvement at NMCC because of this, so I don’t even have a geeky church story for you.
Hopefully I can at least share some interesting things with you until things slow down. Like this article for instance.
I have this obsession with the iPhone. I want one. I will have one. I keep telling myself I’m going to at least wait for the first major hardware revision. Plus, I’m really happy with Verizon Wireless. I’m not keen on switching to AT&T.
I have another obsession… Tablets. I have learned the joys. I don’t know what I would do without OneNote. That’s another reason why this article caught my attention. If anyone can make the tablet popular, Apple can.
I loved this quote from the article… it made me laugh.
“Any company that can make a mobile phone with no buttons, no picture messaging, slow Web access and no video capture into the most desirable phone on the planet can easily make tablets popular.”
