Hope you like IE7
Somehow I missed this was happening… but it looks like big daddy has decided it’s time to update.
I guess if you can’t get people to use your products, you force them.
Which business model is that?
My fav. tech of 2007
By far, the technology highlight of 2007 occurred for me on November 30th. That was the day I picked up my iPhone.
I debated back and forth since it was announced if I want one. The cost was a huge issue. AT&T was another. Finally, when the iTouch came out and had [...]
What’s your flavor?
One of the beauties of FireFox is that it can be whatever I want. Anyone can add their own touches to make it more productive… so what’s your flavor?
I’ve added: Fission, Gmail Manager, Stop or Reload, and PermaTabs
I’ve also added Google Browser Sync and Google Notebook, but I don’t think those are Firefox exclusive.
Worst Technology Ever
I have a post coming soon about the best… but I thought I would start with the worst.
I found this very interesting information from C|NET today. Honestly, I have to agree. I just don’t like it. I’ve tried it… several times. I know many of you like it, but I can’t even begin to understand [...]
Hackintosh
I figured it was only a matter of time before this was possible (I suppose it was always possible, but now it’s easy [easier?]). Also, I love the term… Hackintosh! I wonder if this will become a defacto standard name? I suppose you do have to at least question the legality, it is after [...]
long time gone
I’m still here. I wish I had something really geeky to say, but I don’t. We’re working on some really, really cool IT stuff at work, but I’m not allowed to blog about it. We have been working on some massive upgrades, so that has monopolized my time.
I’ve really slacked off on all my involvement [...]
More about PostReach and ClickComments
The PostReach folks left a comment on my last post about them (thanks!). So as long as they’re paying attention, I’ll keep sharing a few random thoughts.
I’m not sure if it’s JavaScript or AJAX, but the drop down box that appears when you vote really annoyed me at first. I kept searching for [...]
PostReach updates ClickComments
The good people over at PostReach have done a SERIOUS overhaulson ClickComments. The have added some very nifty enhancements including some less positive feedback and some customization options!
Although the customizations still aren’t quite what I was hoping for, this update is a big step in the right direction. Still a fantastic idea and you can’t [...]
Google Notebook
Is anyone else using Google Notebook? I love the ability to take notes while browsing. I like to put blog ideas, links, and well, notes in various notebooks.
Oh yeah, you can have multiple notebooks.
Check it out if your curious. The only feature I would like it to have is the ability to email a note [...]
what if you knew I read your blog?
I’m not talking just numbers. But how would you like to put a face, name and blog to each of those numbers?
What if as church people we could give a casual shout out to the readers who never comment?
What impact would that personal touch add to your readership, ministry, or blog roll?
Check out MyBlogLog or [...]
